Why Spray Foam Tech

About the company

Spray Foam Tech specialises in spray foam insulation for commercial, industrial and agricultural buildings: metal and asbestos cement roofs, warehouses, workshops, containers and complex concrete structures.

We do more than turn up and spray. Every project is assessed around the building, the substrate, the access, the condensation risk and the performance it has to reach, so the specification matches the problem you are actually trying to solve.

One team from survey to installation

Survey, specification, quotation, installation and handover, all managed through Spray Foam Tech.

  1. Step one

    Site survey

The building is looked at properly by people who understand the installation.

  2. Step two

    Specification

System, depth and detailing set for that roof, that substrate and that use.

  3. Step three

    Quotation

A written estimate that matches the specification, with nothing left to interpret on site.

  4. Step four

    Installation

Sprayed by our experienced technicians, who do this work every day.

  5. Step five

    Handover

The finished work shown to you, photographed, and signed off.

Survey, specification and quotation are handled by people at Spray Foam Tech who know the installation. The spraying itself is carried out by our technicians. Different people, one company, one point of responsibility.

TESTED

Fire performance on the record

The uncoated system achieved Class 1 surface spread of flame to BS 476 Part 7. Finished with DC315 intumescent coating at 0.7mm, the system is classified Euroclass B-s2,d0 to BS EN 13501-1. Both tested by BTTG in 2024, and the reports are available on request.

WARRANTY

25 year warranty

Our own 25 year workmanship warranty covers the installation, and it activates when the works are paid for in full. The manufacturer issues its own 25 year product warranty separately, sent direct to you after completion. Ask for both sets of terms with your quotation.

ACCREDITED

Accredited and site ready

SafeContractor accredited. We arrive with the paperwork a site manager will ask for.

SPECIFICATION

A specification built around your building

We look at the building before we confirm the works, and the specification follows what we find there. Not a one-size-fits-all system applied to every job.

What we assess
  • Roof profile
  • Substrate
  • Condensation risk
  • Insulation depth
  • Access
  • Fire protection

Problems we solve

Most calls start with a symptom, not a product. These are the four we hear most.

  • 1

A roof that drips when it is not raining

Warm, damp air meets a cold roof and turns back into water. Often nothing is leaking at all: the building is making the water itself.

    Metal and corrugated roofs
  • 2

A building you cannot keep warm

Sheet roofs and single-skin walls lose heat faster than you can put it in.

    Steel-framed buildings
  • 3

Surfaces other insulation will not stick to

Corrugated sheets, curved roofs, concrete soffits between beams, the face of a piled wall. Awkward is normal for us.

    Concrete soffits and structures
  • 4

A cement-sheet roof that sweats worst of all

Single-skin asbestos-cement has no insulation value, so it is the coldest surface in the building. We encapsulate it in place from underneath. We are not a licensed removal contractor, and if the material has to come out we will say so.

What happens when you get in touch

Two ways in, and the same four steps whichever one you take.

  1. 1

You tell us what the building is and what it is doing. Building type, rough size, roof only or roof and walls, what you are seeing, and whether anything is coming in from outside. Rough is fine.

  2. 2

A technician rings you back. Someone who has surveyed and specified these buildings and knows what the roof in front of you is doing. If spray foam is not right for your building, you will be told so on the phone rather than in a quotation.

  3. 3

We estimate, or we come and look. If it is straightforward we can price it from what you have told us. If it is not, or you would rather we saw it, we survey the building first.

  4. 4

You get a written estimate. Most estimates go out within about three working days of your enquiry.

If you are not sure spray foam is the right answer

Tell us about the building and a technician will ring you back to work it out with you. No obligation, no specification needed, and an honest answer if it is not a job for us.

If you already know what you want priced

Tell us the building, the rough area, and whether it is the roof or the roof and walls, and we will estimate it.
